Ky-Mani together with Praswell (Fugees), collaborated to create a memorable cover version of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue". As Ky-Mani took the stage at Midem, an international music festival staged in Miami for its first time, the extent of his power was obvious. Ky-Mani entertained a large audience from all over the world at the Cameo Theatre. The set took place live on CANA (Caribbean News Agency) and broadcast to the 36 nations. Ky-mani is developing the sixth studio album of his career, which showcases his growth as an individual and also displaying the duality of his character Ky-mani as well as Maestro. This album is modern and deeply in the roots of reggae music and hip-hop culture. The album is expected to offer an exciting departure from the typical electronic pop of the style, and will instead reflect the authentic urban reggae and hip-hop fusion. The singer released his latest track "New Heights" on the 3rd of March 2011.
