Antonina's UFC contract was extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious in the unanimous victory, however she fell in the second round to Roxanne Modafferi via an undisputed split decision. Antonina bounced right back after her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. This fight earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her subsequent three bouts. She defeated Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee.
