Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st October 1995, in Berkeley, California, USA. Her work includes actress for Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie mayr's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors and film makers, two careers which she has herself taken up. The intricate and challenging character earned her a David di Donatello award for the Best actress. In 1995 she co-starred with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again won her the David di Donatello as well as the Grolla of Oro. Asia began directing in 1994, releasing two shorts as well as an episode of the film De Generazione. In 1996 she made an documentary on her father. She also produced AbelAsia, a film on the famous film maker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which was awarded by the Rome Film Festival. In 1999, Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva in which she played the lead actress and author of the screenplay. The film released on May 1, 2000 in Italy as well as around the globe. The film was honoured by the Williamsburg Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
